Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 15, 2026 · ADU Intelligence Systems
This Privacy Policy describes how ADU Intelligence Systems ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use ADUVerify.
1. Information We Collect
When you order a report, we collect:
- Property address — street address, city, state, and ZIP code provided during checkout
- Email address — used solely to deliver your report
- Optional fields — lot size and zoning code, if provided
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. We receive a payment confirmation and a session identifier from Stripe.
We do not collect your name, phone number, or government ID. We collect only your email address (to deliver your report) and your property address (to generate your assessment). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Generate and deliver your feasibility report to the email address you provided
- Process and verify your payment via Stripe
- Respond to support inquiries if you contact us
- Improve our service through aggregate, anonymized usage analytics
3. Data Retention
We retain your email address and property address for 90 days after report delivery for support purposes. After 90 days, your personal data is anonymized — we retain only the property address and report results for service improvement, with no link to your identity. You may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing support@aduverify.com.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate ADUVerify:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely to deliver your report.
- Public government data sources — FEMA flood databases, U.S. Census data, and other publicly available records used to generate your report. No personal information is transmitted to these sources.
5. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you via email within 72 hours of discovery, in compliance with applicable California and EU law.
6. Do Not Sell My Personal Information (CCPA)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell — this right is already protected)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
To exercise any of these rights, email support@aduverify.com with subject "CCPA Request." We will respond within 45 days.
7. Children's Privacy
ADUVerify is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
