Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 15, 2026 · ADU Intelligence Systems
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using ADUVerify or ordering a report. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Service Description
ADUVerify provides automated preliminary feasibility assessments for residential properties based on publicly available data sources. Reports are generated by software and delivered electronically. ADUVerify does not provide legal advice, zoning determinations, planning approvals, building permits, or financial guarantees of any kind.
2. Nature of the Assessment
All reports produced by ADUVerify are:
- Preliminary and informational only. They are not authoritative determinations of any legal right, entitlement, or prohibition.
- Based on publicly available data. We rely on government databases, public records, and third-party data sources that may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
- Not a substitute for professional advice. Always consult a licensed attorney, architect, engineer, or your local planning department before making any financial or construction decisions.
- Subject to change. Zoning laws, environmental designations, and local ordinances change frequently. A report reflects data available at the time of generation.
3. Assumption of Risk
4. Payment and Refund Policy
Reports are sold on a one-time, per-property basis. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. If our engine cannot locate sufficient publicly available data to generate a meaningful report for your address, your payment will be automatically voided and you will not be charged. Completed reports are non-refundable.
If you believe your report contains a material error in publicly available data (such as an incorrect flood zone designation or incorrect address geocoding), contact support@aduverify.com within 30 days of your order. We will review the claim and, if a material error is confirmed, provide a corrected report or a full refund at our sole discretion.
5. Data Accuracy Commitment
We are committed to sourcing and presenting data accurately. However, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any report. All data is sourced from publicly available records and is subject to the limitations of those sources.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ADU Intelligence Systems and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or reliance on any report or information provided through this service.
ADU INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: CONSTRUCTION COSTS, ARCHITECTURAL OR ENGINEERING FEES, PERMIT FEES, LOAN APPLICATION COSTS, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER ECONOMIC LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THIS REPORT.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ADU Intelligence Systems, its operators, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.
8. Acceptable Use and Intellectual Property
All content, report formats, software, and underlying methodology are the intellectual property of ADU Intelligence Systems. Reports are provided for your personal property research. You may share your report with your personal professional advisors — including attorneys, contractors, architects, lenders, and financial advisors — solely in connection with your own property. You may not resell, republish, or distribute reports commercially or use them for properties you do not own or have a direct interest in.
9. Privacy
Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our Service shall be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Orange County, California.
YOU AND ADU INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Unless both parties agree, no arbitrator or judge may consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first use by emailing support@aduverify.com with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out."
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any arbitration shall take place in Orange County, California.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
